General Swedish Massage Techniques

The manipulation of soft tissue and joints using

various forms of strokes. Pressure varies from

light to deep. The techniques are Effleurage

(gliding/sliding), Petrissage (kneading), Tapotement

(rhythmic tapping), Friction (cross fiber or with the

fibers) and Vibration (shaking). 

 

Cupping Therapy

Using negative pressure (or suction) the muscles

and soft tissues are lifted enabling an increase of

blood flow and oxygen into the affected area. This

technique is very beneficial for scar tissue release,

muscle tension and circulation. 

Facial Cupping

The gentle use of cupping therapy to decrease fine lines

and wrinkles.

 

Relaxation Massage

Using general Swedish massage techniques over

the full body at a slower pace and light pressure to

induce relaxation and help ease your body and mind

of stress and tension. 

 

Prenatal Massage 

This type of massage is used to help the mother-to-be as she experiences the physical changes during her pregnancy. The prenatal table is designed to ensure a safe and relaxing experience for both Mom and baby.

Graston Technique

Soft tissue instrument assisted mobilization. Using instruments to gently scrape along the skin to break down adhesion, scar tissue and restriction found within the soft tissues.

Indian Head Massage

Designed to increase and stimulate blood flow, lymphatic drainage and oxygen to the upper body to relieve stress and tension.

 
Constipation Treatment

Uses clockwise movements over the abdomen to promote healthy digestion.
